What is FacelessMint?
A desktop app for Windows and Mac that makes short faceless videos on your computer. A format's wizard collects your choices, your own script model writes the script, Fish Audio records the voices, you check and edit it all in the app, and the MP4 renders on your computer. You can post it from the app through your Zernio account.
Is it really a one-time payment?
Yes. It's a lifetime deal: you pay once and use the app for as long as you like. There is no monthly fee, no subscription and no credits to run out of.
The AI services you connect (your script model, Fish Audio, fal.ai) bill your own keys at their prices, and the app shows each step's cost before it runs.
What kinds of videos can I make?
Starter makes Character Explainer, Text Story and Quiz videos. Ultra adds Faceless Story and AI photos today, then Stickman, Talking Objects, Claymation, Fruit Stories, Miniature, Cinematic Story, 3D videos, UGC ads and more as they launch; see the roadmap.
How does the Ultra pre-order work?
Ultra's price starts low and goes up $5 after every 50 members, until $99 at launch. The price you pay is the one you keep. If you already own Starter, upgrade inside the app and pay only the difference.
Do I need my own API keys?
Yes. You need a script model (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter or any OpenAI-compatible server) and a Fish Audio key for voices. fal.ai is only needed for AI pictures, and Zernio only for posting from the app.
What does one video cost me?
Whatever your providers charge for what it uses. A 60-second script costs about 1.2¢ on Gemini 3.8 Flash (from 0.1¢ to 16¢ on the other models the app suggests). Fish Audio bills you for what the voices read. Caption timing costs about $0.36 per audio hour with Fish speech-to-text, or nothing with Whisper on your computer. Rendering is free.

Where do I find my purchases and downloads?
Under Account: sign in with Google or your email and you'll see your plan, your purchases, your computers and the downloads. The app signs in the same way, so there is no key to copy.
Can I use my own voice?
Yes. Give any character any Fish Audio voice, including voices you have cloned on Fish Audio; they show up in the app. Use voices you have the right to use.
Can I post videos straight to social media?
Yes, with a Zernio account: post now or schedule to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X. For YouTube you can also set privacy, category, made for kids and the AI-disclosure flag. The title, description and hashtags are written with the script, and you can change them.
How many accounts can I connect?
Posting goes through your own Zernio account, so the accounts you have connected there are the ones you can post to.
How long can my videos be?
Character Explainer: 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Text Story: 60 to 120 seconds. Faceless Story: 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Quiz: 8 to 15 questions, or a 3 to 6 question Blitz.
Can I edit a video after it's made?
Yes. Every video opens in the editor: change lines, swap pictures, add sounds and text on screen, set each line's voice volume, split a line at any word without recording it again, and undo. Render again whenever you like; every render is kept.
Can I use my own pictures, clips, music and sounds?
Yes. Your library holds your characters, gameplay clips, music, pictures, clips, GIFs and sound effects, next to 52 original starter sounds.
Where do my videos and keys live?
On your computer. Videos, characters and clips stay in the app's folder. Keys are stored encrypted and only sent to the service they belong to.
Which languages does it support?
